My Monday

My day started like it usually does with playtime with James and cleaning chores around the house. We did get to do something fun today that we don't usually do. Today James and I got to go to lunch with our friends Amy and Aubrey. Aubrey just turned one month old on Monday. She is such a precious little girl! (It almost made me want another one) Note - I said ALMOST! It was so nice to get out of the house and do something fun after dealing with James having an ear infection and an eye infection. Let me tell you giving your 16 month old eye drops is not my idea of a good time. I will be very glad when he is done with that! We had a really nice lunch at McAlisters and got to catch up with each other after basically not seeing each other for a month. It was nice to exchange funny mothering stories too. Sometimes you just need to talk to someone who has been there and done it so they know exactly what you are going through. Anyway I also got to go visit my grandmother in the hospital which was nice for her to get to see James since she hasn't seen him in a couple of weeks. Now I need to go get the Herb Crusted Round Roast ready to put in the oven so we won't starve tonight.
